If you google, the first result is actually for a place in Michigan (I was reading them and found a dude mentioning herds of stray cats and was like.nope?). Hm, odd that you found reviews on Harlo, as they just opened a couple months ago. I will say however, that living in the North Loop has been awesome, but it is expensive and gets more of the late 20s early 30s single professional crowd that all own dogs. They told me to just look at the pictures on the website and go with that. Solhavn/Soltva/NOLO don't allow tours with the new management, which blew my mind. Borealis is still owned by the original owners. Solhavn/Soltva/NOLO are all owned by a different company than the one that built the buildings. The only difference is if you want a pool, gas stove, and a garbage disposal. Vinyl flooring, stainless steel GE appliances, and maybe thin granite countertops (third north has laminate tops). FYI, most of the apartments in the north loop are going to be pretty much the same in terms of look. If you're not on the top floor, you'll probably hear the people above you stomping around because of the vinyl flooring. It's a nice building, but gets more of the partier crowd. Maybe (mostly hesitant because of reviews regarding management/noise/parties/etc)Īny insight or advice would be greatly appreciated!!! :)ĮDIT: Added M on Hennepin, Mezzo, and Archer to Yes list Yes (both seem amazing but I'm scared they're too good to be true) Does anyone live in/know anyone who lives in any of these buildings? I'd love some help picking our new home! I've done quite a bit of research in the areas we want to live - Uptown (seems like a great neighborhood) or North Loop (close to his work) - and made a list of potential apartments in our budget. We're 30 and pretty low-key and have a small dog. We visited Minneapolis a few years ago for the State Fair and have been wanting to move there since. My boyfriend and I will be moving there soon and we are beyond thrilled.
